In this collaborative event, Kevin Allred’s “Politicizing Beyoncé” (Rutgers University) meets Jennifer Richardson’s “Beyoncé: Critical Feminist Perspectives & U.S. Black Womanhood” (UIC) to discuss how the two scholars utilize Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s music and career to engage issues of black feminist theory with students in fun and unique ways!
