Join us for a screening of Ej Nussbaum’s short film series 130 Ways of Breaking Up and Getting Over Ed, which personifies her eating disorder as a bad ex. Nussbaum will discuss how art is a space where material and symbolic change are co-constructive.

Lunch will be provided.

Hosted by UIC Women's Leadership and Resource Center as part of its Feminisms Lunch Lecture series.

Ej Nussbaum is a Chicago-based experimental artist and MFA candidate at UIC. She earned her BA in Material Culture and Labor Studies from Hampshire College.

WLRC's suite is wheelchair-accessible and includes an accessible, all-gender restroom. The building has an elevator to reach the third floor. The front entrance to the building requires using a buzzer that is above many wheelchair heights. Please feel free to call us at (312) 413-1025 when you arrive for assistance with the front door. Please call or email us a few days in advance for any other accommodation requests.
