Since its inception in 2016, more than 380 girls have participated in the overall Global Youth Ambassadors Leadership Program, with 119 of them participating in the Chicago Summit.
The Global Youth Ambassadors Leadership Program aims to:
- Empower emerging leaders
- Teach strategies for leadership, advocacy and activism
- Inspire young women to become agents of change
- Build a network of globally minded leaders
Applications are now open for the 2021 Summit, which will be held July 10-17, 2021!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s participants will engage with each other and business and civic leaders via virtual workshops, discussions, and presentations on advocacy, activism, and leadership.
Participants are selected via a competitive application process. The application is available to girls, ages 14-16, who live in or attend school in the city of Chicago or one of its 29 sister cities and have an interest in international relations, leadership, advocacy, activism or gender studies.
There is no cost to attend the Global Youth Ambassadors Leadership Summit.
Applications for the 2021 Summit are available on CSCI’s website and are due Sunday, March 14, 2021.
