Black survivors of interpersonal violence at UIC are invited to join this open mic and healing event.  Register to attend and/or sign up to be a featured storyteller! We welcome you to share your story of survival and becoming through words, music, or dance.

Volume 1: 12-1pm | Open Mic
Black survivors of violence are invited to share your stories.

Volume 2: 1-2pm | Aftercare
Discuss healing from harm while enjoying hot cocoa, pastries, and calming art.

Co-hosted by WLRC's Campus Advocacy Network and the African American Cultural Center.

Masks are strongly recommended and appreciated to help prevent the spread of airborne respiratory illnesses and to allow us to be in solidarity with those who are immunocompromised.
