2024-2025 Graduate Assistant (0.25 FTE with tuition waiver)

WLRC seeks a Graduate Assistant to

  • Help develop and implement the center’s programs and events, including, but not limited to, student leadership development programs, lecture and film series, workshops and trainings, and awareness month events.
  • Work with staff to research and develop program, training, and resource materials; raise awareness of the center; and shape and implement new initiatives.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, including answering phones; preparing for and staffing programs/events onsite and online; communication; event promotion; and managing programming space and data (registration lists, photos, videos).
  • Participate in biweekly (once every two weeks) staff team meetings and weekly one-on-one meetings with supervisor.

WLRC seeks an Undergraduate Communications Assistant to

  • Co-develop, post, and monitor content for social media channels (priorities are Instagram and possibly TikTok; secondary are Facebook and Twitter/X)
  • Design graphics for social media (with assistance from staff graphic designer)
  • Co-manage social media calendar
  • Develop social media campaigns around WLRC programs, national observances, and feminist/gender equity/social justice issues
  • Track social media analytics
  • Participate in biweekly staff meetings and regular one-on-one or team meetings with direct supervisor
