Palestine is a Reproductive Justice Issue

October 21, 2024

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Green flier with white text. Bottom has a different shade green band with logos of organizations. On the right side, there is drawing of a person, wearing a green suit jacket, a kuffiyah hijab, green sunglasses, and holding a booklet with the cover in green and decorative flowers and the words know your rights.

Join us for a teach-in and reflection space about Palestine as a Reproductive Justice issue. From Georgia, to Sudan, to Falasteen, we cannot trust any state entity to center our reproductive well-being. HEART will share findings from their latest campaign, RAHIM, on what Islam as a faith can offer to reground in communal care and a global commitment to reproductive agency.

Hosted in collaboration with HEART, Students for Justice in Palestine at UIC, and the Arab American Cultural Center.

About our facilitators:

HEART works to promote sexual health, uproot gendered violence, and advance reproductive justice by establishing choice and access for the most impacted Muslims.
