Welcome back to campus, Flames! Kick the year off right by joining us for a screening of the hilarious movie Bottoms! Come for snacks and laughs and stay for the queer-women-centered community space. All are welcome!
Part of WLRC and CAN's Feminist Film series, which this year is focusing on queer women in film. Stay tuned for more screenings to come!
About the film:
In this refreshingly unique comedy, two girls, PJ and Josie, start a fight club as a way to lose their virginities to cheerleaders. And their bizarre plan works! The fight club gains traction, and soon the most popular girls in school are beating each other up in the name of self-defense. But PJ and Josie find themselves in over their heads and in need of a way out before their plan is exposed. Starring Ayo Edebiri, Rachel Sennott, Kaia Gerber, Marshawn Lynch, Dagmara Domińczyk, Havana Rose Liu, Miles Fowler, Nicholas Galitzine, Punkie Johnson, and Ruby Cruz.
