In light of the Dobbs decision striking down Roe v. Wade and blocking abortion access in states across the U.S., Dr. Monica McLemore joined us to discuss reproductive health and justice.

Speaker: Monica McLemore, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN Professor, Department of Child, Family and Population Health Nursing Interim Director, Center for Anti-Racism in Nursing University of Washington

Dr. McLemore’s research addresses reproductive health and justice at the intersection of antiracist birth equity research, community-informed methods, and policy translation. Her research interests cover the reproductive spectrum including abortion, birth, cancer risk, contraception, family planning, health sexuality, pleasure and consent.
