Calendar
Download iCal FileThe UIC Women’s Leadership and Resource Center would like to offer our space for an open conversation about graduate students' experiences with sexual harassment, violence, and stalking that involve UIC faculty, staff, and students, especially on campus.
As reported this week* in The Chronicle of Higher Education, six UIC graduate students have filed a federal civil rights and Title IX lawsuit against a UIC professor. Please join us to talk with other graduate students and WLRC staff about your concerns and questions.
There will be no pressure to disclose personal experiences, and the conversation will not necessarily focus on the current lawsuit. However, trained confidential advocates will be available if you would like to speak with someone about something that happened to you.
Lunch will be provided.
Please RSVP and/or send questions to Ramona Gupta, Associate Director, at ramonag@uic.edu.

WLRC's suite is wheelchair-accessible and includes an accessible, all-gender restroom. The building has an elevator to reach the third floor. The front entrance to the building requires using a buzzer that is above some wheelchair heights. Please feel free to call us at (312) 413-1025 when you arrive for assistance with the front door. Please email ramonag@uic.edu a few days in advance for any other accommodation requests.
