About

Rachel Barron is a dedicated Junior at UIC, where she is currently pursuing a double major in General Psychology and Criminology, Law, and Justice, complemented by a minor in Sociology. Prior to joining UIC in the spring of 2023, Rachel earned her Associate in Arts from McHenry County College.

A distinguished member of the UIC Honors College, Rachel not only excels in her studies but also finds time for her passions outside academia. Her love for music spans across various genres, with a special fondness for R&B and soul. When not immersed in her studies or enjoying music, Rachel channels her energy into kickboxing, a pursuit that reflects her drive and discipline. Additionally, she cherishes quality moments spent with her loyal companion, a vibrant 3-year-old German Shepherd.

Rachel’s outgoing and compassionate nature is evident in her interactions. She enjoys meeting new people and hopes you’ll discover her sense of humor, kindness, and compassion as you get to know her. Feel free to connect and add her on LinkedIn!
