About
Sydney Wells is a Chicago native and undergraduate student at UIC currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Spanish. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Harold Washington College in 2020.
She is also currently the College Liaison for UIC’s Women in Computer Science (WiCS) student organization, which focuses on the professional development of women who plan on pursuing computer science as a degree and as a career.
Sydney is passionate about software development and cybersecurity. She spends most of her time coding or picking up new programming languages. When she’s not on her computer, she’s either playing video games or crocheting a character from a video game. Sydney also enjoys cooking; her favorite dish to make currently is arroz con pollo.
