About
Blanca F Zavala-Avalos is an undergraduate Student Intern at the Women's Leadership and Resource Center.
Blanca is a fourth-year undergraduate student at UIC's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She is double-majoring in Applied Psychology and Gender and Women's Studies. During her undergraduate experience, Blanca has worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Biological Sciences on a climate change project and the Criminology, Law, and Justice department on a project about sexual assault/abuse. She is passionate about social justice and hopes to help her communities advocate for mental health.
